Giving Objects a Second Life
Mend is a small-scale company that combines practicality and purpose. Specializing in clearing out houses, offices, and garages, it helps people manage moves or decluttering while giving a second life to recovered furniture and objects.
These items are then cleaned, repaired, and resold in Mend’s own second-hand store promoting a sustainable and circular approach to consumption.
This branding project was created for a family-owned company seeking a more coherent and professional identity. The goal was to translate Mend’s core mission, reuse, renewal, and responsibility, into a visual system that feels both approachable and trustworthy. The identity needed to reflect a sense of flow, movement, and continuity between collection, reuse, and resale.
A dynamic arrow system forms the core of the visual language, symbolizing circulation and transformation. The logo merges direction and renewal through fluid, interlocking paths. A gradient green palette transitions from deep to fresh tones to evoke ecology and optimism. Friendly yet solid typography and clean layouts extend across stationery, uniforms, vehicles, and signage giving Mend a clear, modern, and sustainable presence.
